One of our most popular pregnancy portraits packages in our Wimbledon studio has been our Bump to Baby offer.
This promotion is exactly was it says on the tin. To begin with we have a lovely studio pregnancy portrait session and then a few weeks later when baby arrives we invite new families back to the studio for a newborn photography shoot.
Ideally the best time for a pregnancy photoshoot is between 32 and 36 weeks but we’ve had expectant mums coming in at all sorts of different stages!
So far we haven’t to call upon our midwifery skills* but we’ve had a few mums to be coming in very close to or even over their due date!
This wouldn’t normally be something we’d encourage but as it’s such a special type of photography session, especially if it’s your first baby, then we always try and accommodate!
*Just to be clear….we are not trained midwifes not have we delivered any babies. I thought I was going to have to deliver my own daughter at home but that’s a whole different story altogether. If you’d like to know more then do read my article at London Mums Born in 60 seconds.
What people have been saying about our pregnancy portraits
The maternity portrait session is one of our favourite types of photoshoots. We like to think our approach is relaxing and comfortable but also a memorable experience during such a unique and wonderful time in your life.
A few go our many parents who have come to the studio for their maternity and newborn photos have been kind enough to share a little bit about their experience with us. Here’s just a couple but you can see more at our Facebook Page.
Davinia Marshall
Very lovely people. Felt very relaxed and comfortable and really enjoyed myself. Can’t wait to see the pictures. The preview has already been a massive hit with friends. Would definitely recommend!! X
Filippa Falcone
Highly recommended! Me and my fiancé really enjoyed the pics experience and Michael helped us to feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Kerrisue Morrey
We can’t praise the service, value and results of our ‘bump’ shoot enough. We are both less than comfortable in front of a camera, but Marcin made the whole experience easy, relaxed and even enjoyable! He was utterly professional in his approach, consulting and guiding us to get the best results possible. We are so pleased with the outcome and can’t wait for the ‘baby’ session.
