
Michael is a Director of Memory Gate Photography Limited.
He has worked as professional photographer since 2001 photographing over 100,000 people’s portraits in the process.
He is the current Chairman of the Master Photographer’s Association South East Region Chairman and a brand Ambassador for Cherubs, the UK’s largest and longest established baby photography program.
Along with a degree in photography Michael also holds professional qualifications with The Master Photographers Association and The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
Michael has been married to his wife Emma since 2007 and have been living in Epsom since their daughter Elodiedh was born in 2014.
Michael’s career photography industry has certainly a varied one. After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a photography degree in 2001 Michael embarked on a 5 year career as a cruise ship photographer. Soon after leaving the life at sea Michael took over as the studio manager of two South London studios. At the start of 2009 Michael left the studios to start his own business Memory Gate Photography with Marcin Mieczkowski.
Along with his photography work Michael also has a growing speaking and training schedule and works personally with many small businesses helping them to develop their online presence. He has worked with companies inside and outside the photography community and has also numerous other organisations and individuals who provide services from disability advocacy and awareness to campaigners in educational reform.
