Biggin Hill Airport Lookout Cafe and Biggin Hill Recreation ground! Family days out and things to do in Croydon with kids during half term and school holidays.
Wandle Park does have a very small car park I think about 12 spaces in total and you can park for 3hrs for FREE!
A path goes all the way around the outer field of the park and we saw a few walkers and runners goes passed us as they did their laps around the park.
We went to Enchanted Village Crazy golf, closer to Enchanted Village golf is Coney Hall Recreation ground and Addington Park
There are many reasons why Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is a great family day out but it’s even better as an overnight stay.
We’ve visited Port Lympne Reserve a couple of times, staying in different accommodation each time.
The Crystal Palace Dinosaurs
If you live in Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth or any other South London Borough, at some point you would’ve heard of, or visited the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs. The Crystal Palace Dinosaurs may be a wildly inaccurate Victorian depiction of what dinosaurs looked like but they have a fascinating history.
The London Borough of Limericks by Angry Dan. A poetic street art treasure hunt around Walthamstow. Commissioned by the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture 2019, Angry Dan has created a treasure hunt for his Walthamstow murals. Angry Dan is offering a limited edition print to everyone who finds all of the murals.
London City Gardens
Discovering London City gardens might not be top of our family days out list but I assure you there’s plenty to discover.
